Tiny little drinks spot right at the government dock that’s great for pre or post dinner cocktails.

Elbow Room

Everyone’s favorite late night spot with it’s famous sand dance floor!

Gusty’s

The bar at the hotel has a great pool table and a humidor if anyone wants a cigar. It has an upscale Balinese vibe.

Pink Sands Bar

A beachfront hotel with a fabulous vibe and a must for a cocktail in the clubhouse or dinner on the deck.

The Dunmore

This is a harbour front hotel with a super chic bar and restaurant. Go for just cocktails or stay for dinner on the porch. Just make sure to order the crab linguine.

The Landing

date night

A jewel box of a hotel on the beach with a tiny cocktail bar and a simple menu of fresh, local food. It has a boho vibe and great service.

The Ocean View Club

This takeaway spot has great burgers & awesome specials. The chef used to cook at Sip Sip (IYKYK!) and she sometimes features the famous lobster quesadilla on the menu.

Back Road Gal

Fantastic salads, pizzas, and sandwiches with great cocktails and views over the beach.

Coral Sands

We think DaVine is one of the best sushi spots anywhere, much less on a tiny island! The chef used to be at Nobu and it’s great for dinner too, with a sunset view over the harbour from their front porch.

DaVine sushi & Wine

Super low key spot at Tingum Village Hotel with amazing burgers - it’s allegedly the place Jimmy Buffet wrote “Cheeseburger in Paradise” about! It’s very Bahamian, with recipes passed through generations of Caribbean home cooks.

Ma Ruby’s

lunch

Best “sit down” breakfast & brunch on the island with great coffee and insane French toast. The lemon cream cheese on their homemade bread is a dream. It’s a cool outdoor garden vibe right on the Harbour.

The Landing Hotel

Awesome for juices, smoothies, and vegan food. They also have can’t-miss lunch specials that rotate weekly.

Sweet Spot Cafe

Just one block away from Fig Tree and great for smoothies, juices, and breakfast sandwiches. There is always a line so pre-order on the app and pick up to-go!

Cocoa Coffee House

Owned & operated by a local bahamian, they offer the best pastries & savory quiches (the gruyère & prosciutto croissant is a MUST), all made from scratch from whatever is in season & almost always local ingredients. They sell out quickly, so get there by 8am for the best selection.

This gorgeous harbourfront restaurant and bar has a chic courtyard where you can listen to live music and sip a craft cocktail from the bartender, "Fluffy", as the sun sets over the water. Afterwards, grab a table for a meal of upscale local specialties like lobster, grouper, and pasta.

THE ROCK HOUSE

You can’t visit Harbour Island without a day on the water! Visit the famous swimming pigs, lounge on remote beaches, snap a pic on the iconic swings in the middle of the ocean, swim with sea turtles, and try your hand at fishing. We love boating with Conch & Coconut. Our property manager can help arrange an excursion for you.

Boat Day

The famous Sir George Roberts Memorial library is the oldest public library in The Bahamas. It’s located across the street from Fig Tree and a great place to get out of the late afternoon sun, pick out a book, and find a quiet corner to read. They also have weekly farmers markets on the grounds.

Library

This is an iconic Bahamian tradition featuring a parade of dancers in costume playing a variety of instruments. It’s a fun cultural experience that your kids will love.

Junkanoo

Most people come to Harbour Island for the famous pink sand beaches, but one of our favorite things to do with kids is spend a full day playing and sunbathing, The sand is soft and the turquoise water is typically calm, with just enough waves to boogie board. The beaches on Briland will likely be some of your favorite in the world, and your kiddos will probably meet a buddy or two sharing sand toys.

Beach Day

Family Friendly

An amazing locale for colorful prints by Caribbean artists, coffee table books, and local photography. They even have pieces from iconic Bahamian painter, Amos Ferguson.

This roadside shop is where everyone gets their monogrammed straw bags! A must for a special island souvenir.

SHINE

A local favorite with plenty of pretty gifts, coastal clothing, and jewelry.

The Blue Rooster

One of the chicest boutiques on the island with amazing caftans, beachwear, and jewelry from high-end designer brands.

The Sugar Mill

Shopping

Great place to pick up picnic items for the beach, large batch cocktails, to-go sandwiches, etc. they also do great breakfast.

BRILAND WAVE

The best wine & liquor shop. It’s next to Pigly Wigly. You can also arrange for TO-GO BAHAMAS to pre-stock the bar for your arrival (we recommend picking up a bottle of local Pin Drop Rum!
 - our property manager Joe’s brand!)

Bristol Wine & Spirits

A good place to pick up meat/fish
